Sophoi Impact is the division of the company that works with private clients to provide Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) services.  We provide practical and collaborative IMM support to corporate clients, investors and fund managers, and foundations and donors.

Sophoi Impact is currently providing IMM services to both large multinational corporations enhancing their social and environmental purpose, and smaller, newly established impact investing funds contributing to solving the most pressing global challenges.

Drawing on more than 15 years’ experience in strategy, project design, monitoring, evaluation, and learning across the fields of climate change, environment, sustainability, innovation, and private sector development, we offer collaborative IMM support from initial investment design, through key indicators and results frameworks, to impact-level results reporting and adaptive lesson learning.

We will help you navigate the rapidly changing field of impact investing and sustainability standards and regulation, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals, sustainable finance taxonomies and various sustainability standards (e.g. EU Sustainable Finance taxonomy).

Sophoi Impact support cover two broad areas:

  1. Designing and developing IMM frameworks - we help investment teams design and deliver environmental, social and governance (ESG) and sustainability impact measurement and results frameworks. We build on best practice in sustainability reporting and impact investing standards, co-developing impact metrics and strategies that are fit for purpose.  Collaborative exploration and capacity building forms a key element of this support.

  2. Independent impact assessment and evaluation - we work with organisations that are seeking independent assessments of their positive social and environmental impact, generating robust and representative evidence of an organisation’s results and change up to the impact level. Our approach is centred on identifying and claiming results up to the impact level as well as supporting practical learning to inform future investment design and delivery.
